Our Story
Two NSB locals, Terrence Dever and Greg Gabringer, had a vision to create a new dining experience, combining an eclectic menu with a comfortable atmosphere, all while providing patrons with a true taste of the area.
With a combined experience of over 40 years in the hospitality industry, Terrence and Greg understand the importance of listening to exactly what locals are looking for and their hands-on experience over the years provides them with a unique outlook on how to run their business.
On any given night you can find one, or both of them, on the floor greeting customers, assisting servers and being involved in the overall running of the business.
The Spott opened in July 2021 and is located on Canal Street in the historic district of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. They offer weekly lunch specials, nightly dinner specials and are open later than most restaurants, offering the perfect place to decompress from a hard day's work, no matter what industry you’re in.
Chef Lee
We take pride in sourcing the highest quality cuts of meats and produce and partner with a local captain to provide the freshest seafood available. Our seafood dishes are always fresh, never frozen, and come directly from our Captain's boat to our kitchen.
The fresh ingredients are then handed over to Chef Lee to create the culinary masterpieces featured on our menus and daily specials.
